Who we are
Indian Heritage Centre believes in the principle ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” - a Sanskrit phrase found in Hindu texts which means “The World is One Family”.
Culture represents a set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices. Our main aim is to preserve, conserve and promote our cultural heritage and promotion of all forms of art and culture. We aim to promote cultural awareness at the grassroots level. In order to achieve these objectives, we would like to undertake various activities on a regular basis. We would like to collaborate with other organisations which have similar objectives. Indian Heritage Centre believes in the principle ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. Cultural development is not a process of day one or two. This process needs continuous awareness and effort. Especially bringing awareness among young adults is much needed as they are the ones who will take this forward. Awareness, Encouragement, and Participation are 3 magic wands that can make this happen.
What we do
- Promote the welfare of Non-Resident Indians in the UK by providing a platform to explore Social, Cultural, and Economic Development and Integration.
- Indian Heritage Centre aims to organize Seminars, Conferences, and Meetings to bring communities together for discussion, dialogue, and networking.
- Promoting NRI Entrepreneurs and honouring the successful NRIs will help to build confidence among the NRIs.
- To promote Social, Cultural, Recreational, Educational, Sports, and Health & well-being related activities with the purpose of promoting values among the Indian Community and other nationalities of the world.
